“ Great Hot Pot Place for Its Value I am not a hot pot or shabu enthusiast--in fact, I usually prefer making it at home. However, my family and I decided to give this place a try, and we were thoroughly impressed. We were able to choose three different soup bases and order a wide variety of dishes, including meats, side snacks, vegetables, and beverages. One of the highlights was the ability to create our own sauces. A well-made sauce can elevate the entire meal, and having that customization was a definite plus. For a party of seven, the total came out to around $288 before tip--which was absolutely worth it! We ordered a generous amount of food, and everyone left feeling full and satisfied. The service was excellent--the staff was warm, attentive, and friendly. The interior is clean, bright, and inviting, making for a comfortable dining experience. If you're looking to try a new hot pot spot, this place is definitely worth a visit! ”
“ We came w/o a reservation and luckily beat the crowd at around 5pm for a table of four. The server took a bit to come out with some orders in our 4 people set, but their self serve bar has some wonderful sesame balls and other side dishes to enjoy in the meantime. I also enjoyed their crispy pork skin dish! It got busy after we sat down and at some point a hostess got into a screaming match with a customer (??) but other than that the service was accommodating in helping us switch to our set combo from ordering individually. It was a little hard to get a server once it got busy but overall the service was fine. Their meats were nicely marbled, and the quality of their dishes and base was what I expected from its price. I think between Haidilao or Yuan's Hotpot, I'd pick the latter for the more authentic feeling. ”
“ I loved the tomato soup and the spicy mala soup! Hit the spot with the fresh meat! Loved how they dipped the beef belly in raw egg before they cooked it for you! It's nice that they offer three soups whereas most places offer up to two. A wide selection of build- your-own sauce bar and condiments as well! Can't wait to go back and try more dishes! **side note: the fried rice is a bit oily so please skip :p ”
“ One of my new favorite hot pot spots! Yuan's hotpot is the perfect balance of traditional flavors and modern vibes. One of the most flavorful bone broth bases that I've tried, their soup bases are clean tasting and a great complement to every ingredient. Meat quality is so soft and tender, I really enjoyed dipping the beef into egg then boiling. I also loved all the presentation. Veggies and meats are fresh and clean. The meat balls and shrimp balls are bouncy and juicy, the juiciest I've ever had. There's a build your own sauce bar with side dishes, yum! Their passionfruit refresher is a great way to cut through the spice and grease and quench the fire in your mouth. Price is reasonable, similar to most higher end hot pot places now. Service was quick and friendly. I will say parking sucks, the lot behind the restaurant is tiny and confusing, it's easier to park on the street or come on a weekday. Also be careful to not touch the lion heads on the pot, they're cute but get hot very quick. Will return! ”
“ I really like this spot for some Chinese hot pot! If you're coming with a group with people, I would recommend getting the trio flavor soup base so you can pick 3 soup bases for more variety. I've tried the spicy pot, bone broth, and mushroom broth. My personal favorite is the mushroom because it's so fragrant! All items are ordered a la carte but one of my faves is the celtuce, which I haven't seen other spots offer. Tastes similar to a winter melon and it's very refreshing. There's a big parking lot in the back and a ton of street parking. Service was attentive and I like how the tables are really spacious! ”
“ Reviewing again! Came with family for Saturday dinner around 6pm. Place is usually clean, not loud, but very small in terms of moving around. The place wasn't busy, however, it was a bit lacking on the appetizer station, almost everything was gone so we had to wait a bit for things to get refilled. They had sesame balls, wrapped snacks, cucumber salad, spicy chicken feet, ear wood mushroom, some bitter jelly thing, and porridge. Sauce station is great, lots of selections and some sauces are duplicated on the other side so it's not just one area to grab sauces. We ordered in the phone, apparently only one phone per ordering table. For soup base, we did the trio, bone broth, mushroom, and spicy (mild), the spicy one was actually really red and spicy! No wonder they had a "little bit spicy" option. We ordered many beef slices, lamb, tofu, spam, veggies, enoki mushrooms. We also ordered fried rice cakes and fried pork (?). Very delicious! The only issue was that the enoki mushrooms was a bit discolored and gray, my mom thought it was old or frozen but the servers said it was fresh. Regardless, my mom asked them to return it... ”
“ A good amount of spicy levels to choose from. I like that they have a number of combo platters to order so for two-person party, it makes it possible to eat more variety rather than committing to one huge plate of one type of item. There's your usual sauce bar and also the snacks bar, both with good variety and kept pretty tidy. The restaurant itself is spacious, *not* stuffy, and has two levels. So even though there might be a wait, it's not too long. For 2 ppl, it was ~$100 subtotal and we were stuffffed. Parking is available via a driveway next to the bldg that leads also to the back with more parking. ”
“ One of the best shabu-shabu restaurants in LA county! They have the options of one pot, two pots (not half and half, a little circle inside of a big circle pot), and three different soup pots. We tried the three different soups, and they were all good. Service is best, and the atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Feel like you are actually in modern China. They have so many different sauces to boost the flavor of the food. The appetizer and dessert bar was excellent. Parking is free in the back ”
